The worker from every angle

The worker from every angle

Lots of different sketches bear witness to Leonard de Vinci's interest in anatomical work, which we see everywhere. He was fascinated by nature and the human body to the point of dissecting it to find what lay beneath the surface. This was fraught with difficulties in a society where religion was the law!

The iconic "Vitruvian man" is believed to represent the perfect proportions of an ideal human body. These proportions are based on mathematical construction and symbolise the harmony of the universe. Workwear is technical clothing and our stylists strive for perfection and the most comfortable designs, all while meeting industry standards in order to fulfil the needs of modern workers. A bag with incredible details is perfection itself.

Da Vinci always strove for beauty and perfection and never left anything to chance. Every detail meant something and helped towards developing a complete and harmonious work. The meticulousness he showed in crafting his works was an inspiration to all.

The handwoven KI5205 shopping bag is part of the "Handloom recycled project" collection that came from a collaboration between the Kimood brand and the HandTouch company, member of ECOTA, the fair trade network of Bangladesh. It is precision work, made by hand. Its traditional weaving is meticulous and gives the cloth a unique look. Every detail counts, and the thread used to make this bag has been specially chosen using recycled materials to combine respect for the environment with respect for human beings to create something very special. Tailoring a jacket

Tailoring a jacket

We mainly think of Leonardo's painted works, however, he took his sketch books with him everywhere! He also never painted on canvas, favouring wood instead. As a forerunner of our modern scientific approach, his countless drawings and notes about plants, anatomy and machines bear witness to his search for a system of interconnection and his true genius! Observing, understanding and creating is how he came up with a thousand different inventions that were often unfinished... And what was his main interest? It was concept design more than making things.

The K401 softshell jacket is a highly popular technical garment for midwinter. Its windproof, breathable and waterproof membrane is flawless. It is extremely comfortable thanks to its stretchy fabric. All of these innovations that make life easier for workers and sports enthusiasts would undoubtedly have aroused the curiosity of this seasoned scientist! He would definitely have dissected this jacket from every angle and would have appreciated its high performance.
